I am not an individual who likes to have her picture taken. I tend to maneuver to the back or take the pictures but Pamela made me want to be a model. From the second I agreed to a shoot she provided me with tips and information on how to make the day amazing. Her calm, sweet spirit transcends into her work flow and every second in engulfed with an essence of splendor. I was relaxed, happy and calm throughout the carefully thought out session.

My biggest fear was probably just that I wouldn't look my myself in my finished pictures, because I don't wear very heavy makeup. I was worried I would look like every other white girl that takes senior pictures. Thankfully this didn't come true. I liked the lighter makeup I wore and all the pictures we took felt uniquely me.

My favorite part of the session was taking photos in my prom dresses (because I felt very Old Hollywood) and shooting on location in Old Town Lewisville. I thought it was a really neat place to place pictures and it was different from where most everyone from my school took their pictures

I would definitely recommend you to my friends. I would tell them about how you were really fun to brainstorm photo ideas with, and you were very supportive of taking photos that I really wanted and that I would love.

Pam gave me my first hair cut when I was 2 years old and she’s been cutting and styling my hair, my mother’s hair, my father’s hair, and my younger sister’s hair for 20 years. She’s a family friend and trusted beauty advisor.

She has such a passion for helping women realize their beauty, inside and out. Her talent with hair and makeup coupled with her unique vision for wardrobe creates the perfect atmosphere for a photoshoot. I have done two shoots with Pam to date, a Lifestyle shoot featuring my daughter and I when she was 2 months old and more recently, she asked me to model for a Glamour and Boudoir shoot. She made me feel like a queen for a day! Her studio is beautiful and comfortable and her warm hospitality is just another of her seemingly endless facets.

Pam, through her actions and through the exceptional photos she takes, challenges me to be more confident in myself and encourages me to love myself as a woman and as a mother and there are not words to convey what power that mindset holds in the society we live in.

I would like to take a moment and talk about our photo session with Pam. This was the best photography session I have ever had! From the time we walked into her studio we felt completely at home. Pam is an extreme professional and has the ability to bring out parts of your personality that you didn’t even know existed. Her calm demeanor can put the most shy at ease. We went through multiple wardrobe and background changes and never felt rushed. After taking time to go through all of the photos with us, she put the ones we selected in a slideshow and presented that to us. We were blown away!! I chose to spend my birthday with Pamela at my photoshoot.

My biggest fears were that I would look and feel silly and that the photoshoot wouldn’t be money well spent.

Pamelas professionalism and guidance put me at ease, and I felt like a princess the entire time. She and I had collaborated on ideas ahead of time, and we were able to get all of the shots we wanted... and then some!

I am Pamela Tuckey's daughter, but when I praise her photography, it is not because of our relationship or any other bias.

I have always been very self-conscious and self-critical. I rarely like photos or video of myself and will pick every little feature apart. Aside from my wedding/bridal photos, the only times I have ever felt like I looked good in a photo was when my mom took it. It has always been that way, even long before she became officially interested in photography.

Part of it is probably because she knows me--all my angles and expressions, my insecurities and concerns, my areas of confidence. But I have seen her photos of other people, whom she barely knows, and her photos of them are really good, too.

She takes her work very seriously, and she has a great creative eye. There are photographers who will take your pictures and your money and when you see the results, you will be disappointed because you had odd facial expressions, or a less-than-flattering pose, etc., and you likely will feel tricked, like they should have warned or guided you. But Pamela Tuckey won't let that happen. She provides feedback during photo sessions to ensure that your personality is expressed in your face and eyes, and that you're posing in a way that shows you to your best advantage. You don't have to worry, and because of this, you can relax, which makes the whole experience more fun and improves the finished photos as well.

Not only is she a good photographer, but she is also an excellent and very talented hair and makeup artist--she has been doing hair and makeup as her primary profession for over 30 years. Rather than just accumulating years of experience, she works hard to continually improve her skills and increase her knowledge in her fields. This even includes building a wardrobe of high-end clothing and accessories to play with.

She is literally a one-stop shop for everything you need for great photos--from the beauty aspect, the photography aspect, and also in working hard to make sure that you are happy with the end results.

Pamela captures the beauty and essence of a woman at any age. Her raw talent is on the level of Annie Leibovitz or Richard Avedon but her personality makes you instantly feel like you have known her since 6th grade. I would highly recommend her to any one wanting to capture time.

My worst nightmare realized, I was asked to provide headshots for a presentation I would be hosting to a large group.  Ultimately I have never been a fan of pictures of myself. None have never reflected how I look should someone meet me in person after seeing a picture of me. So what does a girl do? She goes to her best friend Eve who deals in nothing but the truth. Enter Pamela.
I love that before the session even began she took the time to understand my expectations, apprehensions and learn more about me. My nerves and stress melted away as our conversation and laughs continued. Pamela's background beautifully lends to her ability to identify the best features to showcase and ultimately make the whole awkward process (for me) strangely comfortable. What?! I highly recommend working with Pamela on your next photo shoot. I am a country singer in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area and her and I collaborated on a shoot. I am so happy with the images we were able to capture and the overall experience. I have worked with several photographers and Pamela went above and beyond.
